Scaling Nova Health Nationwide

Challenge

Nova Health, a regional multi-specialty provider, faced margin compression, fragmented patient data and a strategic mandate to expand nationally. Existing systems could not support the growth without breaking care quality.

Research

We shadowed clinicians in 11 sites, audited every core system, and modelled unit economics per specialty and geography. The insight was clear: expansion required a composable platform, not a bigger EHR.

Strategy

Rebuild Nova as a national platform on a composable architecture, standardise clinical operations, and enter new states through a repeatable playbook combining greenfield sites and M&A.

Execution

We stood up a modern data foundation, replaced three legacy systems in 18 months, launched a shared services centre, and delivered an M&A integration playbook that has been used across seven acquisitions to date.
